Your Role: Compliance and Support Specialist
What You’ll Do:
Are you passionate about quality, compliance, and process improvement?
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual to help drive our ISO compliance efforts while keeping our internal processes running smoothly. If you love problem-solving, thrive in collaborative environments, and enjoy connecting the dots between people, processes, and tools—this role might be for you!
Collaborate with multiple teams to support results-driven initiatives
Attend and lead meetings (e.g., monthly PIT meetings, process review and update meetings, new process mapping meetings); capture and distribute meeting minutes
Translate requirements into clear, analytical process maps
Conduct and document internal audits; support external audits, yearly surveillance audits and 3-year recertification processes
Apply ISO standards to APM processes for compliance and alignment
Track lessons learned and support implementation of improvement initiatives
Track PIT Action Items to completion
Process Mapping & Documentation (via Elements):
Create and maintain process maps using Elements mapping tool
Facilitate mapping sessions; ensure accuracy and accessibility
Administer Elements software (user management, updates, ISO imports)
Generate reports to validate document links and maintain integrity
Manage the Ampirical Process Map Change Log and related documentation
Maintain relationships with Elements software vendor for support and to stay updated on latest capabilities
Collaborate with Document Controls and IT to ensure APM Elements links are updated
New Employee Onboarding & Digital Tools Support:
Lead onboarding intro sessions and track attendance and surveys feedback.
Maintain onboarding dashboards and stay current on O365 applications.
Collaborate with BI Specialist on Power BI dashboard development and data source support.
What You Bring:
🎓 Education: Bachelors Degree from an ABET school
📊 Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years audit experience for ISO 9001 and internal auditing
Travel Required: Periodic travel to our Corporate Office in Covington, LA; no more than once per quarter. Must be on-site during external Audits to support Audit process.
Preferred Qualifications:
ISO 27001 experience
ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications or any other ISO certifications
Experience with ISO recertification cycles
💡 Skills:
Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Elements), SharePoint, Microsoft 365 suite, and other relevant software required to support quality systems and documentation
Ability to interact with subject matter experiences to help draw out the knowledge to help create the process mapping to help with BPM.
