Your Role: Facilities Project Specialist
The Facilities Project Specialist supports the planning and execution of corporate facility projects by managing scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating work across project teams, vendors, and contractors. This role assists with new office openings, expansions, relocations, and facility improvements, and is responsible for space planning, site evaluations, and maintaining up‑to‑date AutoCAD files.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with and lead project team members to plan and manage corporate facility projects from initiation through completion
Develop, maintain, and track project scope to ensure alignment with organizational needs and facility requirements
Build and manage detailed project schedules, including milestones, timelines, and dependencies
Monitor and control project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters
Manage projects related to opening new office locations
Manage facility expansion projects, ensuring seamless integration with current operations
Lead planning and execution efforts for relocating existing facilities, including logistics and stakeholder coordination
Manage planning and execution of facility procurement, remodels, design, wiring and cabling, and closures
Support and manage building maintenance, upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives
Collaborate with internal partners, external vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project execution
Identify project risks and issues related to scope, schedule, or budget and communicate them proactively to leadership.
Space planning within AutoCAD
Site visits to new/proposed project locations
Maintaining/updating CAD files
What You Bring
3+ years relevant experience
Onsite construction management experience is preferred
Experience with office equipment, systems furniture, and building fixtures is preferred
Basic understanding of construction process
AutoCAD drafting/Design skills
Ability to effectively communicate with contractors and vendors
Strong knowledge of building plans and blueprints
Excellent written communication, interpersonal and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Possess problem solving and decision-making skills
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision
