Your Role: Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator of Engineering works to assist the engineering teams with the coordination ofresources, equipment, meetings, and information
Job Duties
· Attends team meetings including daily team huddles.
· Creates New Project Set Up forms in VantagePoint for Transmission and Distribution, Substation, and Relay departments. Creates all phase budgets based on the Engineering Estimates.
· Generates Progress Reports for the Substation and Relay departments, updating the percentage of design completion in VantagePoint. Reports are generated and all updates are transferred to an Excel spreadsheet which is sent to supervisors, engineers, and team members for weekly updating.
· Completes Status Change Requests for all departments.
· Updates and maintains the Master Resource List all departments.
· Updates all license expiration dates for Transmission and Distribution department and renews VP of Engineering’s Professional Engineering (PE) state licenses.
· Coordinates monthly Employee Appreciation Events for San Diego location.
· Works with Finance team to check and transfer time on weekly Overhead report. Runs biweekly budget and labor reports on all active projects for the Manager of Transmission and Distribution.
· Performs multiple system reporting as needed.
· Maintains and creates monthly expense reports for VP of Engineering and approves the team’s expense reports weekly.
· Performs weekly review of Power Business Intelligence (BI) including top unbillable projects and Overhead time for billable resources.
· Serves as administrative lead for the Transmission Distribution Standards Committee. This includes tasks such as formatting documents, coordinating meetings, order specifications, and assisting with any other task that may arise.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience working in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
· Experience working with all levels of employees including management and executives.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills involving emails, reports, and team meetings.
