Your Role: Business Analyst II
The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing corporate business systems—including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise applications that enable Finance, HR, Operations, and Sales teams to operate efficiently. Working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams, the BSA II partners with stakeholders to understand business needs, translates them into technical requirements, and helps design and deliver solutions that enhance productivity, data quality, and user experience
What You’ll Do
Systems analyst for one or more core business systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, Purchasing) performing configuration, security management, reporting and analytics, integration, and release management activities
Provide Tier 2 support for day-to-day user requests, issue resolution, and system administration tasks such as permissions and data entry validation
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements; translate into system enhancements or process improvements
Manage system changes or feature rollouts through their full lifecycle—requirements, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
Lead QA activities in testing new features, enhancements, or integrations to ensure system quality and accuracy
Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and Sales to streamline workflows and improve data visibility and accuracy
Support integrations between business systems and third-party applications in partnership with internal IT and vendor teams
Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and end-user resources to support adoption and knowledge sharing
Assist in enforcing data governance and ensuring data integrity across systems
Monitor product updates and recommend opportunities for optimization or automation
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree)
5+ years' experience in a business analysis, data analysis, or other technology or systems support role
Hands-on experience supporting the configuration and change management lifecycle of an enterprise ERP or CRM platform (Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred)
Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and change-management practices
Experience working with data imports/exports, reports, and BI tools such as PowerBI
Understanding of system integrations, data management, and process improvement concepts
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing and supporting multiple enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.
Familiarity with APIs, data mapping, or integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi, Zapier)
Hands-on experience working in a scrum or agile delivery model
Certifications in Project Management, Scrum, Agile, Change Management, DevOps, or other relevant technology or business credentials
Previous experience in engineering, utilities, or professional services industries
