What You’ll Do
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for strategic negotiations and a passion for supply chain excellence? We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to play a key role in our Operations team, supporting projects from start to finish and driving value across our organization.
Generate and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bill of material requirements.
Analyze vendor quotations for pricing, lead times, terms, and sustainability standards.
Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices, delivery schedules, and terms.
Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Finance teams to keep projects on track.
Track purchase orders and deliveries, proactively resolving any issues with vendors.
Maintain and update vendor databases, including performance scores and certifications.
Contribute to procurement improvement projects and innovative process development.
Support project closeout by collecting test reports, warranties, and manuals from vendors.
Participate in audits and help develop standard procedures for the team.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous procurement experience with large infrastructure projects.
Strong analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management.
Experience in the utility or industrial sector is a plus.
Knowledge of electrical equipment is a bonus.
Certified Purchasing Manager (ISM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred.
