Your Role: EPC Prime Growth Leader
This Business Development Leader will be responsible for our South Central Region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado.
While this position is fully remote, we expect candidates to live within the region as it involves frequent travel up to 50-75% of the time, throughout the North Central Region and occasionally to our Corporate Office in Louisiana.
Department Overview
The Growth Department is a core revenue function at Ampirical, responsible for identifying opportunities, advancing client relationships, and managing the pursuit process from lead generation through contract execution. The team brings together growth professionals, marketing, CRM, and proposal resources to ensure a disciplined approach to pipeline development and forecasting. Its work directly contributes to new business, strengthens client loyalty, and provides the foundation for Ampirical’s long-term growth strategy.
What You’ll Do
This position is responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening Ampirical’s market presence, and supporting the corporate brand through business development, client relationship management, and strategic initiatives. By aligning these efforts with marketing and cross-functional teams, the role ensures continued profitability, deepens client loyalty, and positions Ampirical to outperform competitors in both the near and long term.
- Develop and Implement Growth Strategies – Design and execute sales plans targeting existing accounts and new opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Conduct Market Analysis – Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform decisions and adjust tactics
- Lead Client Engagement – Prepare and deliver presentations, manage relationships, and drive capture strategies that demonstrate the value of EPC solutions and build credibility
- Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams – Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions
- Track Performance Metrics – Monitor KPIs such as revenue growth, win rates, market share, and client satisfaction to measure progress and refine strategies
- Expand Service and Solution Offerings – Identify opportunities for service innovation and work with internal teams to introduce new offerings that address client needs
- Manage the Sales Continuum – Oversee the full sales process from lead generation through proposal development and contract negotiation, ensuring a consistent client experience
- Promote Corporate Brand and Strategic Initiatives – Represent Ampirical at industry events, support marketing campaigns, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen brand visibility
- Drive Growth Operations – Build a qualified pipeline, provide accurate forecasts by discipline and solution, and increase win rates while managing within approved budgets
What You Bring
🎓 Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, marketing, Finance, or other related field
📊 Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant business development experience preferably in the electric utility or related industry
💡 Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales engagements
- Proven and successful closer
- Ability to identify and qualify opportunities with multilevel engagements including at the C-Suite level
- Ability to travel 50-75%
